TOMB RAIDER Atari
We reintroduced the brand by creating a virtual treasure hunt that utilised the then new Google Earth plugin. The game was designed to appeal to both keen Tomb Raider fans and casual gamers.
In 21 days, people had to find 21 artefacts around the world and solve clues. The winner scored themselves a trip around the world, and Atari scored over 300,000 page views, more than 55,000 unique visitors and over 50,000 Desktop Lara downloads… all in 21 days.
