ONCE IN A LIFETIME PHONE CALL ACE
When the Australian Communications Exchange got hold of Captel, a telephone designed for the hearing impaired, they were faced with one big challenge — to get the government to listen. After two years of little success, they got us involved to get people talking.
Using the device, we helped a hearing impared mother, Wendy, make her first ever phone call and speak to her celebrity idol, Chris Noth of Sex & the City fame.
The story quickly captured the attention of the media, gaining national and international press coverage. After the campaign, the government approved the trial of Captel, invested five times the originally requested figure and beat the awareness KPI by 500%.
